New rules effective September 30, 2008. Earn 1 point for every $1.00 in new net purchases of Spiegel Catalog, Spiegel Signature Store or spiegel.com merchandise. Merchandise returns, refunds and other financial adjustments will be deducted from your total points balance. Net purchases also exclude promotional discounts and the use of any certificate; cash advances, finance charges, unauthorized or fraudulent transactions; and any Our Partners or other third party retailer purchase. Statements will be available online to show point activity and balance.
Reward points awarded after September 30, 2008 have no cash value and all outstanding reward points awarded after September 30, 2008 will expire if the participant does not earn additional Spiegel Signature Reward points for a period of 1 year. Points awarded prior to September 30, 2008 will not count toward Spiegel Signature Rewards.
A $10 Spiegel certificate will be mailed to members for every 250 points accumulated. Certificates must be redeemed within 3 months from the date of issue, and are to be redeemed only upon a purchase of Spiegel Catalog, Spiegel Signature Store or spiegel.com merchandise that equals or exceeds the total certificate(s) amount being applied to such purchase. Certificates cannot be: applied as payment toward any credit card balance, on any prior or pending purchase, or for any Our Partners or other third party retailer purchase; used to purchase Spiegel Gift Certificates; or sold or auctioned. Certificates have no cash value, are not transferable and are issued for promotional purposes only without any money or other thing of value being given in exchange. Spiegel reserves the right to cancel an order or reverse a credit, or charge customers at any time for any unauthorized, altered or ineligible use of a certificate, and is not responsible for loss, theft or unauthorized use of a certificate, nor for disputes involving authorized users of the Spiegel credit card relating to points or certificates issued. Order acceptance/confirmation by telephone or online does not confirm final acceptance of certificate.
Determination of any tax liability of a cardholder relating to certificates is solely the responsibility of the customer.
The Spiegel Signature Rewards Program and certificates are administered by Spiegel Catalog Services, LLC. The Spiegel Signature Rewards Program and all certificate terms may be modified or discontinued at any time without notice. All unused points not qualifying for a certificate expire upon termination of the program. This is a partial description of the Spiegel Signature Rewards Program. Other additional restrictions and conditions may apply. Spiegel Group employees, family members and retirees and corporate accounts are not eligible for this program.
