Wallcoverings
Find the square footage of each area to be covered by multiplying the height by the width. (Only measure areas to be covered by paper).
Divide the total square footage of your room by the number of square feet in the roll you are purchasing.
Add one double roll for each ten rolls (20%) to allow for pattern match and waste.
Tablecloths
Cloth overhang is usually 6"-12" per side. Decide the length of overhang you'd prefer, multiply it by 2 and add it to the length of your table. Repeat for width.
Rugs
To determine the proper size rug for your needs, we suggest:
For dining areas, add 6 feet to the length and width of the table to allow for chair movement.
Allow 3 feet on all open sides of a bed.
Leave 8" of floor exposed around baseboards when covering an entire room.
For entries and halls, consider the thickness of the rug and how doors open.
For added protection and cushioning, or to prevent slipping, we suggest using rug pads, grips or rug-to-rug pads.
Stair runner
For standard stairs (8" high x 9" deep): Allow 3 feet of runner for every two stairs. When ordering for more than six stairs add an extra foot to allow for adjusting the pattern as needed.
For non standard Stair runners: Measure one stairs depth and height, than add the two figures together and convert into a foot measure-one foot for every 12". Multiply the foot measure by the number of stairs to be covered. When ordering for more that 6 stairs, add an extra foot to allow for adjusting the pattern as needed.
For non stair runner
For standard stairs (8" high x 9" deep) Allow 3 feet of runner for every two stairs.
When ordering for more than six stairs add an extra foot to allow for adjusting the pattern as needed.
Bar Stools
The height of a stool is the distance between the bottom of the leg to the top of the seat. Sometimes referred to as the seat height.
What size should I order?
18" high counter stool are for standard dining room tables (table heights of 29" to 31") 24" or 25" counter stools are for 36" counter height bars and dining nooks (standard counter height is 36")
29" or 30" bar stools are for 42" high bars
36" high bar stools are for 47" to 48" high bars
